Now that I have graduated, I have to take a hard decision: Should I follow an academic career, or an industry one?

After talking to several people, I figured I don't have a basis to decide that right now. So rather than weighting all pros and cons, I decided to try out both approaches and then decide.

Therefore, I intent to engage in an internship for some months, and then go for a master degree. I figure that that will give me a taste of both worlds, so I can decide wisely (I hope!).

I am very interested in stuff like Virtual Reality, holograms, and other human-computer interaction helpers that actually are not that far away from becoming comercially available applications. I believe this is an excellent field both for research and industry (and perhaps even, who knows, both!).

I am also very keen of web apps/mashups that make people's lifes easier, and actually have a few ideas of my own, that I intent (or already started) to implement in my spare time.
